Our Story
Temples Farm is a family-owned apiary in Southeast Alabama that specializes in selling local raw honey, and handcrafted artisanal soaps. Our passion for beekeeping began years ago as a hobby for myself, then my son started helping me. His favorite thing was making splits with the hives, thus producing more colonies. More hives meant more honey.
My wife also started making handmade soap years ago as a hobby. Since we were both working in healthcare, we knew that our skin is not only our body's largest organ but also our first line of defense. So why not use products with natural ingredients that will maintain and enhance your skin? Handmade soap is not only free of harmful chemicals, but since our apiary has grown, my wife began to incorporate products made by our bees, like honey and beeswax.
Now we have all combined our hobbies and cultivated them into a family business. We take pride in our commitment to sustainability and providing our customers with quality products. Our core values include honesty, integrity, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service. As we are expanding our apiary we have been incorporating VSH Italian genetics through very selective queen rearing. We have noticed a lot of potential in a short amount of time. In the near future we will offering nucs for sale. So, keep an eye out for that or email us if your interested.
